Chapter Fifteen

Luc caught Kel’s light chuckle. “What’s so funny?”

Kel propped himself up on one elbow, gazing at him with obvious amusement. “When you said we were going to talk, this wasn’t exactly how I pictured the conversation taking place.”

Luc laughed and held his arm wide in invitation. “Get over here.” Kel hesitated, then closed the gap between them in the bed, snuggling up against Luc’s side, his head on Luc’s chest. Perfect. Luc put his arm around Kel and closed his eyes briefly, savoring the moment.

He’s here, in my bed. The whole situation still felt unreal. The images playing inside his head, however, were an erotic reminder that not only was Kel there, but Luc had kissed him, caressed him, sucked him off, and fucked two loads out of him. And at his age, he’s probably ready for round three.

Kel let out a contented sigh, and Luc had to smile. “Someone sounds happy.”

“Happy doesn’t come even close.” He craned his neck to look at Luc. “Still doesn’t feel real.”

That had him laughing. “I know. After wanting you for so long….”

“Was… was it as good as in your dreams?” Kel asked quietly.

Luc was not about to leave him doubting for a second. He cupped Kel’s chin and locked gazes with him. “Better. God, so much better. I’d given up long ago on the idea that anything would ever happen between us.”

Kel stilled. “Okay, I was honest with you about when I was first attracted to you. Maybe you should be honest with me. When, Luc? When did you first think of me—of us—doing… this?”

“‘This’?” Kel’s bashful utterance was delightful. Luc’s smile widened.

Kel rolled his eyes. “Okay, okay. When did you know you wanted to… fuck me?” He flushed.

“Hearing you say that word for the first time is a turn on,” Luc admitted. “And okay, I’ll be honest. To my shame, it was the first time you came home after starting college.”

Kel blinked. “Oh. Oh wow.”

“I can’t even tell you what it was about you that had changed. Maybe it was the way you carried yourself, an air about you that was different… I just know I wanted you like crazy. You were all I thought about.”

Kel frowned. “But… why be ashamed? I was legal, right? And my thoughts about you weren’t totally innocent.” He huffed. “At least, they weren’t for all of five seconds before I panicked.”

“Let me guess. ‘Oh God, I can’t be gay.’”

Kel nodded. “Then you were the farthest thing from my mind. I was too busy being scared of anyone finding out.”

Luc gave him a squeeze. “Yeah, I can believe that. So imagine how I felt. I was not going to lust after my neighbors’ son. My preacher neighbor’s son. And so I put you from my mind. You were out of bounds.”

“That’s why I saw less of you after I started college,” Kel said with wide eyes. “You were avoiding me.”

“And I’d have gone on avoiding you, if I hadn’t been so worried about you. I couldn’t stay away.
